23 IDEAS FOR YOUR SPRING BUCKET LIST (& FREE PRINTABLE)

Spring is in the air! Actually, no not really… 😆 It’s more like the middle of winter. My area has surprisingly made it halfway through winter without much of any snow until now. Since we just got a major snowfall, I am now counting down until Spring! I’m tired of the cold… I’m looking ahead to warmer days! I love Spring because it brings the first glimpses of warm weather. It makes me want to air out my whole house, spring clean, put some fresh flowers on the table, and make some big changes. Spring just feels good after getting through the long winters in the midwest.

Normally, we don’t get too much of a Spring. It seems to last a month while winter lasts 6 months… So it’s definitely good for me to get planning on some of the typical Spring activities I like to do. If I start planning for Spring now, I can hopefully get a concrete list in place and make sure we get to complete all of these fun things. Some of them need to be done in cooler weather before summer hits. Once summer hits and it’s 90’s or even 100 degrees, then some of these aren’t as fun. Like horseback riding, I prefer to do that in the spring or fall when the weather is a little cooler.

I’ve separated the list by Indoor & Outdoor activities. That way if it’s raining outside and you want to stay inside then you can quickly find the indoor activities.

Indoor

  • Make a smoothie bowl

  • Watch butterflies (or maybe go to a butterfly house OR grow your own butterflies with this butterfly growing kit [click]!) [this one is also on both lists since a butterfly house would be inside)

  • Visit a botanical garden

  • Buy or pick flowers (this is on both lists since buying them would be inside and picking them would be outside)

  • Volunteer at an animal shelter.

  • Visit the library

  • Start a journal (maybe even a bullet journal [click]! I’ve been wanting to try that).

  1. I love your spring bucket list. The first item on my bucket list is to plant flowers and herbs. I will get the pots and seeds ready this weekend.

As soon as the weather warms up here, I plan to do the same! Planting some herbs in small pots could also be a good activity to do indoors I suppose.

      Enjoy planting your seeds!!
